We are glad that our Principality of Saxe-Bearstein was able to loan Major General von Coors to the Reich Duchy of Beerstein . . . and that he was able to aid in your victory.
Most of the glory, of course, deservedly goes to your Grace for using the good general in a role to which he is well-suited.

What rules are you using?

Jeff,
I mounted all my armies based on Might and Reason, slightly modified. All stands are 2"x2". Infantry are based six figures per stand, cavalry 3 figures, artillery piece and crew on one stand, the trails on another. Generals are mounted 2 for brigade and 3 for army commanders. The 2"x2" are steel which mount on a 2"x4" magnetic plastic stand. This allows you change formation for line to column. One of our group, Jeff Lista, is Mr. Wargames Assessories, who produces both the metal stand and the magnetic plastic stands. It a great system and perfect for transportation. Best regards...Bill

Interesting basing method you are using to identify the units.
Are those stickers that plaster across the back of the units or is it something more exoitc?

I use excel to make the labels paste them to the bottom of the stand and bend the part with the name up so it can be read. I forgot to mention light infantry which is mounted either 3 or 4 figures on a stand and some hussars that are rated as not battle cavalry are mounted 2 on a stand...Bill

As you say about the unit lables, I also do it the same way and it's actually quite handy (especially if you're keeping a record for a blog)
