Brigadier Beerman leads the Auerbrau Musketeers and the Lieb Grenadiers into the training area.
This is the First Brigade enhanced to 29 figures. Eventually the entire Beerstein Army will be enhanced from 17 to 29 men.
The Reich Duchy of Beerstein's First Brigade deployed into line.
Brigadier Beerman seems excited to command the First Brigade.

Those larger units look very good.

Yep, I'm with His Majesty Bluebear. When it comes to imagi-nations, bigger is generally better. Nice painting. Looks like a very combat ready brigade. - Mike (St. Maurice)
Yes the bigger battalions do look better. A nice looking brigade.
It would appear that the Reich Duke noticed the unit formation of the Wittenberg army when on his grand tour ?

Very impressive, and their enemies will feel real dread at their appearance on the field. I'd love to expand the Hetzenberg regiments. Someday (sigh)...
More Beersteins are obviously always welcome, and these chaps look quite splendid. May we ask what occasioned the expansion?
(of the unit sizes I mean!)
Die alte Aechzener, I indeed do love the look of Allen's Wittenberg Army. Actually, Allen is a great source of inspiration for many of the Reich Duke's projects...
Magnificent troops, as usual! I rather liked the smaller 18 (17?) figure units, though... Gives you greater flexibilty, for one thing, and you nation can represent something large. But I have to admit, large battalions do have a presence, don't they. You can understand why the Russians used to say: 'Quantity has a quality all of its own.'
Can't wait to see the boys in action...
Cheers,
Ion
Nice.
Which company cast those in which scale again?
