The Emperor defeats Wellington before Blucher can arrive!

The British Army morale breaks just 2 hours before Blucher can arrive. It was great to use this army for the first time in over 15 years. I had forgotten just how nice these figures truly are. Enjoy!!!

is the table mat you are using something of your own creation?

Oh no! Can't have that very bad boy Boney beat the Brits. (and allies)!

Surely there'll have to be a refight? (All the best games are part of a campaign, aren't they?)

Looks very good - wish I had a big Napoleonic set up...

All the best,

David.

Murdock, The mat is from cigar box mats. I cut poster boards to create the ridge lines and produced a very nice topographic effect. Unfortunately the poor British refused to stay in the dead ground behind the ridges. The figures are old mini figs that have not been out of the box for about 15 years. The Hugomont and La Haye Saint were made about 20 years ago by taking a band saw to some buildings and mounting them on a thin medal sheet. I could not believe they were in the correct scale for the map.
Sir David we are going to do a re-fight next week. The result of this battle will not stand! It was nice to see your posting, hope all is well on your side of the pond. Best regards, Bill

Hi Bill,

Sorry to be so slow replying. Hope the refight went well! Look forward to seeing the details.

I'm OK, thanks. Had a prostate op. on the 27th April and things have improved as a consequence, which is good. Hope all's well with you and your wife. What cats do you have now? Have you adopted any new ones?

All the best,

David.

Grest looking game; as always. Thanks for sharing. What rules did you use?
