Ahlefeldt Kuirassiere joins Moscovia's Heavy Cavalry Brigade

The Ahlefeldt Kuirassieres join the Moscovian Heavy Cavalry Brigade. Fine looking lads all!

My first cavalry regiment fit for big battalion action; three squadrons of Dragoons and their Horse Grenadiers squadron. Ain't they great?

They form indeed a great regiment. I promise, when I've got the kitchen done, and the living room, and...I'll start painting in earnest and try and put you to shame...I'm so jealous.

Yes, this huge regiment is great!
To fully enjoy the aesthetical part of table-top gaming requires 'a willing suspension of disbelief'. The bigger the units, the closer to the real thing they look, the more the 'battlefield' looks like a diorama (rather than loke a boardgame with 3D markers), the easier this suspension of disbelief is.

Cheers,
Jean-Louis

Hi Cap'n Bill,

They certainly look the part! I, for one, would hate to be between them and the beerwagons when the buglers sound, "Fill Your Steins!"

Agreed! They look stunning. I'm envious too. Large cavalry regiments are always such a chore for me.

You are on a mad painting pace, congratulations they look very good and I believe your painting is getting better with every unit.

I envy you your ability to paint such great cavalry in such large numbers. The color combination on the cuirassier uniform is striking.

Yes, the curassiers are quite stiking in the yellow, black and red.
And the massed cavalry is quite impressive!

I thought it was a dragoon Division... Maybe it can be in certain contexts. But Division, Brigade or Regiment - that is one fine body of troops. Great painting, and they shape very well en masse.
